Empowering Change, Shaping Futures: Our Programs Drive Community Growth and Individual Success

Mentorship

Cultivating youth leadership, creativity, and global awareness.

We walk alongside young people as they develop voice, skills, and vision. Through creative labs, real-world exploration, and advocacy training, youth are mentored to become creators, thinkers, and leaders in their own right.

Programs:

  • Out-of-School Time Labs (Grades 6–12)
Weekly, year-long experiences in entrepreneurship, advocacy, arts, technology, and civic leadership.

  • Maker Studios
Hands-on creative spaces for sewing, shoemaking, Cricut design, 3D printing, and product development.

  • Podcasting & Storytelling Labs
Using media to build confidence, explore identity, and amplify community stories.

  • Educational & Cultural Travel
Transformative exposure trips that deepen youth understanding of culture, innovation, and justice.

  • Social Justice & Advocacy Projects
Mentored opportunities for youth to lead change in their schools and neighborhoods.

Opportunities

Opening doors to business, housing, and systemic transformation.

We’re a match that ignites fire—especially for aspiring entrepreneurs and community leaders who just need someone to believe in their potential. MORE offers entry points into real estate, enterprise, and wealth-building for those too often locked out of these paths. We also advocate for emerging developers and community ownership as long-term solutions to gentrification and inequity.

Programs:

  • Business Incubators
A 12-week program supporting both youth and adult entrepreneurs with coaching, resources, and community.

  • Green Workforce Training (TAY)
Paid training for transitional-aged youth in sustainable trades and stormwater infrastructure.

  • Homeownership & Tenant Conversion Support
Helping families and tenant associations move toward stable, equitable ownership.

  • Affordable Housing Development
Creating and preserving homes for very low to moderate-income residents across DC and Baltimore.

  • Developer Equity Advocacy
Championing emerging BIPOC developers through policy, partnerships, and resource navigation, including healing justice brunches & coaching circles (thoughtfully facilitated gatherings focused on mental wellness, community care, and personal growth).
